Using Gmail as a custom SMTP server in AWR

If you want to deliver the reports and user invites using your Gmail address as the custom mail server, there are 2 options you can choose from:

1) Configure the whitelabel SMTP settings with a custom App Password. Details on how to Sign in with App Passwords can be found in this article here:

The recommended setup when configuring the SMTP settings is the following:

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP Security: SSL
SMTP username: [your Gmail address]
SMTP password: [the 16-character password generated when enabling the Sign in with App Passwords option for AWR]
Sender email address: [your Gmail address]

2) Enable Gmail authentication. This is the direct sign-in option that automatically authorizes AWR to use your Google account SMTP settings.
