TapClicks is a leading marketing automation platform that allows you to report data from a wide range of third-party services, including analytics, social media, call tracking, and more. With the integration of Advanced Web Ranking into TapClicks, you can effortlessly combine your SEO and visibility data with other marketing metrics, creating a comprehensive reporting solution that your clients will love.

Why integrate AWR with TapClicks?

  • Centralized data management: Access your SEO performance metrics and other marketing data in one dashboard, saving time and simplifying decision-making.

  • Enhanced reporting: Generate meaningful reports with rich SEO insights that align with your clients' needs.

  • Automated data syncing: Keep your dashboards up-to-date with automated rankings and visibility exports.

How to Connect AWR and TapClicks

Connecting AWR to TapClicks requires an AWR paid subscription that includes access to FTP Exports*, as well as a configured FTP location in your account under the Connectors and API section. For detailed steps on setting up an FTP location and automatic exports, refer to this help article.

*The FTP connectivity is available for monthly subscriptions starting from the Enterprise level and for all yearly subscriptions. If you do not have an AWR account with access to FTP exports, please visit our pricing page for more details.

Step 1: Set up your connection

  1. Sign in to your TapClicks account and navigate to Data > Data Management > Data Sources > Smart Connectors tab.

  2. Click on the Add Smart Connector button, then run a quick search for "advanced web ranking".

You will find two partner templates:

  • Advanced Web Ranking Visibility: Provides insights into your online search visibility, click share, and estimated visits.

  • Advanced Web Ranking SEO: Offers keyword data, including average position and SERP Features distribution.

Step 2: Configure the smart connector

  1. Once you have decided on what template to use, click on the Select button and confirm your connection by clicking Continue. The default setup and mapping details will be pre-populated.

  2. Enter the credentials for the FTP location you set up in your AWR account under the CONNECTION SETTINGS section, then click the TEST CONNECTION button.

If the connection test is successful, scroll down to the HOSTED FILE Settings. In the Data Path field, specify the folder path for your Smart Connector’s data files. For example:

  • /My Documents/ranking for the Advanced Web Ranking SEO smart connector.

  • /My Documents/visibility for the Advanced Web Ranking Visibility smart connector.

Click SAVE CHANGES.

If the test connection fails, double-check your FTP credentials and try again.

Step 3: Assign the data source

Next, assign the newly created data source to a client user. You can do this directly from the Data Sources > Smart Connectors list.

Click on the corresponding Assign button and from the list of available campaigns (AWR projects), select the desired one(s) and assign them to their respective client(s), then click Save.

After the first files from AWR are exported to FTP and pulled by TapClicks, you’ll have an immediate overview of your visibility and SEO statistics.

Create TapClicks dashboards

To create a dashboard, navigate to Reports > Dashboards and click Add new > Add new dashboard. Choose your preferences, and start adding widgets. To display AWR data in a widget, ensure you select an AWR data source from the corresponding Data Category dropdown menu.

Here is a sample dashboard built with the AWR Visibility connector.

You can also generate PDF reports from the dashboards and share them with clients. More details on this process are available in the TapClicks help center.
