The KPIs in the Keyword Ranking report have now an updated, more compact design, while a new metric - Search Intent - is available.
The Search Intent is defined as the purpose behind the searcher's queries, based on the Top 10 search results ranking on Google for the set of monitored keywords.
💡For more details on the Search Intent detection algorithm, type of intents, and how to easily discover the intent behind each monitored keyword please check this article here.
The Search Intent KPI shows both the
Mixed intent keywords - how many items, from the total number of keywords in the selected set (all keywords or keyword group), have more than one search intent.
Search intent distribution - number of keywords broken down by the 4 search intent categories: Navigational, Informational, Commercial, and Transactional. A keyword with mixed intent will be included in all search intent categories it has.
Upon clicking on any of the search intent categories within the KPI, the keyword list in the ranking table below will be filtered accordingly and only the keywords with the selected search intent will be displayed.
