A new metric column - Previous Position - is now available in the Ranking > Keywords report.
The "Previous Position" metric displays the website’s ranking within search results for a particular keyword on the previous update date within the selected date range. This metric helps you easily spot ranking changes and analyze fluctuations between updates.
How to access the Previous Position metric
The ”Previous Position” column can be added as an additional column to the Keywords table using the Table Settings Manager. You have to use the show/hide button for the metric and then click the “Apply Changes” button to update the table.
To make it easier to track the keywords with ranking changes, I recommend using the “Position Changes” filter and selecting the “Changed” option. The filtered data will highlight the keywords with ranking changes between the updates within the selected date range.
