What’s the difference between canceling and pausing the subscription?

Canceling involves permanently terminating your ongoing AWR subscription, resulting in the discontinuation of your account at the end of the current billing month. This means you will lose access to AWR's features and ranking data.

On the other hand, pausing your subscription allows you to temporarily suspend it for a specific duration, such as 7 days, 1 month, or 3 months. While the subscription is paused, you can still access your account and utilize certain features that do not consume keyword units (e.g., generate reports). However, during the pause, ranking & difficulty updates cannot be performed.

When the pause becomes effective and when will end?

The subscription pause becomes effective once the current billing month ends. At that point, the pause period you selected (7 days, 1 month, or 3 months) will begin. During this pause, you will continue to have access to your account with limited functionality.

When the pause period comes to an end an automatic renewal charge will be made, and your subscription will resume its regular billing cycle. It's important to ensure that you have the necessary funds and a valid payment method selected in your Billing settings so the renewal charge can be successfully completed.

What happens with my ranking data when I pause the subscription?

While your subscription is paused, you continue to have access to historical rankings, but no fresh rankings will be collected. As a result, the ranking data will not reflect any changes that may happen during this period.

Once the subscription is resumed, active updates will be reinstated. This means that when your subscription becomes active again, the ranking data will be updated to reflect the latest changes and provide you with the most up-to-date rankings.

Am I being charged while the subscription is paused?

During the pause period of your subscription, you will not be charged. The purpose of pausing a subscription is to temporarily suspend billing and provide you with a break from payments.

However, it's important to be aware that when the pause period ends and a new billing cycle begins, a charge will be initiated to renew your subscription. This charge will cover the upcoming billing cycle and maintain the regular payment schedule. While there are no charges during the pause itself, a new charge will be applied when the pause period concludes and the subscription is resumed.

How many times can I pause my subscription?

You can pause your subscription only once throughout the entire duration of your subscription. The option to pause is offered as a one-time feature to provide our users with the flexibility to take a temporary break from the service. Once you have utilized the pause option, you would not be able to pause the subscription again in the future.

How to cancel or pause my subscription?

Both canceling and pausing can be done from the Setting > General Settings within your AWR account. The subscription owner, who registered with their email at the time of purchase, as well as the Administrator users, have the capability to perform these actions.

How can I resume my subscription?

The subscription will automatically be resumed once the selected pause period (7 days, 1 month, or 3 months) comes to an end.

If you wish to resume your subscription before the pause period expires, you can do so by accessing the Setting > General Settings section. Both the account owner and the Administrators users have the ability to initiate the resuming process.

What happens when the pause ends or I manually resume my subscription?

When the selected pause period ends or you manually initiate the resuming process, an automatic charge will be made so that your subscription resumes its regular billing cycle.

Can I cancel my subscription when it’s paused?

Yes, it is possible to cancel your subscription while it is paused. This will result in permanently terminating the subscription and closing your account. By canceling, you will lose access to the subscription features and any associated ranking data.

Can I pause my free trial?

It is not possible to pause a free trial. The option to pause a subscription is available only for monthly paid accounts.
