Presenting your work to clients or your team can be challenging, especially when it comes to selecting the right data and visuals. Reports need to align the progress your audience expects with your main SEO objectives.

AWR makes this easier by offering two predefined dashboards, each designed to highlight key areas of your SEO efforts. If they don’t fully meet your needs, no problem! The Dashboard Editor allows you to fully personalize these templates to align perfectly with your specific objectives, turning them into your most powerful assets.

To customize a dashboard, you have two options: create a new one by clicking the "+New Dashboard" button in the Reporting > Dashboards or Reporting >Management sections, or click the "Edit" button to modify an existing dashboard.

Here’s a quick overview of all the available customization options:

WIDGETS

Simply drag and drop any table, chart, or KPI widget from the left Widgets menu into the Dashboard Builder.

When you drop a widget into your report, you will be prompted to select its inputs such as the date range, keywords, search engine, website, and other relevant settings, depending on the type of data the widget displays.

If there are specific widgets you frequently use, you can save them as Favorites, simplifying the process of creating a new dashboard with your preferred widgets. To mark a widget as a favorite, simply click the star icon next to it.

FORMATTING

PAGE ELEMENTS

You can enhance your dashboard pages by adding short descriptions, headings, and dividers to keep everything organized. Horizontal and vertical dividers help create a clearer layout, while uploading custom images can make your dashboard more visually appealing.

Using the Image option under the Page Elements menu, you can select any image from your computer to upload to the report.

Additionally, you can add a customizable cover page that features a title, description, date range, and your company logo, giving your report a polished look right from the start.

PAGE HEADER

Customizing the header is a straightforward way to enhance the overall appearance of the dashboard across all pages. You can add your company logo and a title for a professional touch.

Since the header settings apply to all pages, including the project name and date range provides essential context that helps your clients understand exactly what the report covers.

Additionally, you can incorporate a custom text to highlight important information or offer further details, ensuring consistency throughout the entire report.

PAGE FOOTER

In the footer of your dashboard pages, you can easily add your company name and copyright text, such as “Powered by.” This strengthens your brand presence and ensures your report reflects your identity.

CUSTOM LOGO

You can also upload a custom logo to your report, which will be displayed consistently across all pages.
